Josse sees embodiment as something that doesn't just happen within the confines of one's skin. He investigates how motivations and movements live between multiple beings. How drives and ideas exist in a shared way, beyond the individual. How thoughts get shaped in living interactions between humans and non-human.
By focusing on the relation of the body and new media technologies new forms of theatricality emerge; Josse (re)images their relation, narrative function and potential for poetry.

Nobody enters his sanctuary, a digital space that he created in Virtual Reality. A world of his own that mimics the reality outside his mind, but has its own complexity and mysteries. It is a distillation of his own experiences, where he hopes to find what he is looking for. To deep in our own cave of wonders, all we see are projections of our own mind. Can his self-made world give him back more than what he already knows?
In this dance performance, Josse Vessies creates a 360° canvas where time warps, choices don't have clear consequences and infinite possible outcomes. All these dizzying possibilities make it easy to lose purpose. In a state of ongoing fluxus, it becomes ever so necessary to find one’s inner compass to be able to see clearly.
